PowerPoint

We've been learning much about Microsoft PowerPoint. I've found it very useful when it comes to making presentations for school. Although I have used PowerPoint in the past I still managed to learn a few things such as the notes pane, the different types of views, how to add ClipArt, and the types of themes. You can never know too much.

Microsoft Excel

Today we began working on Excel. Although I have worked with Excel for a long time, I still managed to learn new features such as formulas, AutoFit, how to group sheet tabs, and how the use of AutoSum can make calculations so much easier. We learn many things with the exercises and projects and is probably the reason why I did well on the exam.

1st Day

Today was my first day in Intro/Micro Usage. I've been taking computer related courses since I first entered middle school, so it feels nice to enter into well known territory. The first thing we did in class was introduce ourselves which gives the class a friendlier feel. Although I've been using Microsoft Word for a while, I still learned a few new features that I never knew it had. We went over all the commands on the Windows 7, and did a few assignments from the book to help us become more familiar with the software. Good day.
